Field-initiated Demonstration Projects (Mini-grants)

A minigrant program for direct service providers and administrators provides an incentive to implement newly-acquired strategies and share knowledge with other professionals in the field, building the capacity of local systems and encouraging leadership in educational practice. Two types of projects are eligible for grant awards:

(a) projects which result in innovative approaches to service delivery to students with deaf-blindness, including demonstration projects; and,

(b) programs which promote the transfer of successful practices, ideas, or information to other service providers through in-service or staff development activities.

Four (4) grants of $500 are awarded annually.

Grants for 2009-2010 will be awarded soon.  Refer to the flyer and cover letter for more information.  Complete the application and submit to Donna Riccobono by the deadline specified.  The scoring rubric will help you to prepare your grant proposal to meet the criteria for awards!
