Connections Beyond Sight and Sound title

Connection Beyond Sight and Sound is a partnership between the Maryland State Department of Education and the University of Maryland, College Park. This project supports children in their home, school, and community by providing consultation, training and special programs, technical assistance to children, their families, and care providers.

News and Updates:

Please join us in congratulating our Technical Assistance Specialist, Sandra Newcomb, on the successful defense of her dissertation on March 9, 2009! The title of Dr. Newcomb's dissertation is “The Reliability of the CVI Range - A Functional Vision Assessment for Children with Cortical Visual Impairment.”

Connections Project receives supplemental funding to continue work in District of Columbia!

	Annual Census of Students with Deaf-blindness. If you would like to register a child who has vision and hearing impairments with the Connections Project, please contact Diane Kelly and/or complete a Census Form.
	Referral Form for Technical Assistance. Please complete and forward to Donna Riccobono for all technical assistance requests.
